I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and abide by its code of ethics.
I have lots of experience helping men and women of all ages, from a variety of backgrounds, cope with a wide range of problems. These include anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders, relationship and work issues, and the effects of bereavement, accidents and other traumatic incidents.
I am experienced at addressing short-term crises that need immediate attention and support to guide you through tough and challenging circumstances. I’m also skilled at working with people in an open-ended, longer-term way.
I have been frequently involved in the diagnosis of mental health conditions, helping people through the process of more acute and ongoing issues, such as psychosis or personality disorders.
I have a Masters degree in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy (IAP). In addition, I’m trained and experienced in CBT and EMDR, and skilled at integrating these techniques into my approach to best meet your needs. I am a member of the EMDR Association, UK and Ireland.
I have been an associate at the WeightMatters Practice in central London. This clinic specialises in supporting people with disordered eating, issues around weight and body image, and understanding their relationship with food.
As an integrative arts psychotherapist, I’ve worked in private practice, within specialist therapy services, in the voluntary sector and within organisations. I am experienced at working on both a short-term and long-term basis. In all my work I strive for realistic and meaningful change within a safe, therapeutic environment.
